Psychological First Aid (PFA) is a practical technique that trained individuals can use to support and provide comfort to distressed individuals and assist in their healing process.
Using PFA can assist you in mitigating initial distress in others and aiding them in better coping during the days and weeks following a traumatic incident, such as a disaster, workplace mishap, or assault.
PFA training equips you with the skills and confidence to engage safely and effectively with individuals impacted by trauma, whom you might already encounter in your workplace.

It is important that people are supported during this time, and the workplace plays a critical role in providing this support, as the supervisor and/or co-worker are more likely to be the person to recongise early signs of mental health problems.
This program encompasses five self-paced sections designed for workplaces to improve the organisational response to trauma-related events such as critical incidents or cumulative work duties resulting in trauma.
This option allows organisations to customise the Psychological First Aid in the WorkPlace program which is designed to meet an employer’s specific objectives. Sessions will incorporate practical tools, facilitator led discussions and interactive activities.
